What an incredibly weird way to market your game. Absolutely no publicity, just announce a release date, which is in a week.
The 22nd could very well be just the release of the first gameplay trailer.
Putting Tiger on your cover and releasing the game on a weekās notice with 0 marketing seems like a very bold strategy.

Probably just an announcement for the announcement, but 2k21 came out 8/21/20 so

As Iām sure most of you did, I went to their actual website and their is absolutely nothing. Just stuff on the old game. Never change 2K, never change.
I mean that sure seems like a game release announcement. But very strange, weāve heard absolutely zero news since they announced Tiger what seems like years ago. Also the game isnāt in the Steam store as far as I can tell, but Iām just searching on mobile since itās blocked on my work pc.
Weāll see what happens, myself and the other admins are committed to getting the new game on release to ensure we secure the in-game societies for the Refuge Tour.
Iāve no idea if this site is a valid source or if they are just speculating like the rest of us, but possible March 2023 release which makes more sense. Even the dumbest marketing team wouldnāt name drop Tiger, go silent for a year, then go, oh yeah btw, hereās the new game. March release would be just in time for @theclv24 to redo Unnamed Georgia Course and have it censored right as April approaches.

Also bump for scores for event 7, remember if you donāt post a score for your team you will get the highest score in your flight (just for team total purposes, not individual). I have a very busy day at work but I will get around to the update later this evening.
Donāt give them too much credit. This is the same group that announced the Tour partnership and 2K partnership for TGC19, then went silent forever, then announced the release date 2 days before releasing the game, then fucked up all of the official courses that they ported over without letting the creators know, including pins on the side of hills and mere inches away from the edges of greens.
Also Big Golf Weekend 2020 never got censored. Presumably because I named it exactly how they were ambush marketing Masters weekend in all of their socials. Iāll just follow their lead again next time!
