Had an absolute dumpster fire of a R3, as my kid has now officially murdered the last remaining controller, and I followed up an opening eagle with a 6 hole stretch played at +8. A lot of similarities with Jon Rahm’s missed 1 foot putt today.
I eventually switched to the opposite joystick to finish off the round with some dignity.
Just added my score and it was embarrassing to write down but I also noticed I had not upgraded my bag and had some pathetic clubs in the bag. Just upgraded my bag, played another round at Brentwood and shot a more respectable +4 so please don’t think I’m as bad as my score denotes. I still stink but not as bad.

And it only took 87 events! Now that I’ve definitively proven that I’m better at this game than @BlakeG I’m strongly considering retirement.

The Arnold Palmer Invitational looks like a group of players from The Refuge Tour Strapped flight. Just can’t make any putts.

Weekly update coming later this evening. Right now the following players still need to post scores, this could heavily influence the team standings.
Alright, weekly update time going into the final regular season event of the season.
First it looks like McLaren suffered a DNF, @Jrembold will have 24 hours to file an appeal if there were extenuating circumstances that prevented the player from posting a score.
In the Constructor’s standings, it’s Red Bull and Williams 1-2 this week, so Red Bull edges into the lead on points with back to back wins. The final event will be the decider, we could legitimately be tied on points at the end. If we are, the tiebreaker goes to whoever has more victories, then more 2nd places, then 3rd, and so on.
Individual flight winners:
- Young Hitters: @Enorma-Stitts gets another W, seemingly a return to form but we’ll see if it’s short lived or not.
- C-Suite: @jaytarbzzz and @BoomBaby812, you guys tied all three rounds, so the standard tiebreaker doesn’t work here. As the game does not allow access to hole-by-hole, we can’t use that either. Someone couldn’t have made an extra putt somewhere to make this easy? Anyway, are you guys on the same platform, and if so do you want to do match play to decide the winner? The other option would probably be to split points. Let me know what you want to do.
- Strapped: @ChuckV247 is another first time winner in the Strapped flight
- LPCP: @Golfpro731 second straight win, and to the top of the points standings
Remember points reset after the next event, their purpose is to secure spots for the playoffs.

Judging by the early scores, I was waaaay too kind with setup this week.
@Jeff_M we are cancelling this week and running it back with all 4 rounds set up in line with R3’s carnage.
Either that…or I get my revenge next week at Barton Hills!
