I fully realize (hope) that you all are joking around, but still want to set the record straight there is no nefarious activity here. Streaming seems to tank my fps but maybe I can try to record a round or two if we really want transparency. Seriously, I impressed myself this week with some of the recovery shots I hit from wayward tee shots.

Not gonna lie, it was bleak only a few weeks ago. Like seriously thinking about stopping playing the game, then figured out some stuff with swing path.

Feel like I am very much on the Spieth trajectory. In the absolute wilderness the last 2-3 seasons, but currently “trending” the last few events including a strong finish in the Masters.
Or at least that is what I am going to tell myself.

I’ve been embracing the Spieth “if i’m swinging fast we’re just gonna aim right and swing” methodology and I’ve never played worse. Maybe I’m just a middle of the pack captain these days
I’ve started aiming a few clicks right since I tend to swing fast. Has really helped a lot.
I bounce back and forth between trying to swing “the correct way” and just making adjustments for my naturally tendencies. I usually play better with the latter but feel like it limits me from competing with the really good players. In this regard it is incredible how much this game mimics my experience with real golf.

I can putt perfectly straight, it’s only on drives/approaches where i get the left miss
I also feel like divot derby ruined part of my game. Swinging fast and slow greens made it all go to hell

Turn off the swing timing & turn the difficulty to master or legendary. Master w/o swing timing and power meter gets the same 1.72x multiplier as our current settings and it is quite liberating. Hitting pitch shots w/o fearing a slow tempo is the stuff dreams are made of…
In fact, the Refuge Shadow League will be incorporating NTT events into the schedule soon. The first one will be at our new home course, Nonotempo.
