Majorly. At least yesterday tee was up so it was only 200 to carry (not that it matters I went OB right between 6 and 7).
Has sucked all 39 years I’ve been alive. No reason it would stop now.
Is 6 the worst hole on the property? Discuss.
5 deserves to be in the discussion
5 definitely sucks too. If the fairway didn’t kick so hard left/long it would be so much better.
I thought 5 was stinky as well. 6 is stupid but in a fun kind of way. Need to get back there this year.
Also gonna nominate 14 just because that hole sucks to walk from fairway to tee.
It took me way too long to learn that the play on 5 is just to hit driver over the corner to avoid the hallway of a landing area before the fairways turns.
I was way too scared of hitting driver there for way too long, for absolutely no reason. Driver is 100% the play, especially when it’s wet/soft and there isn’t the worry of run out.
We’re working our way up to going up over the trees/corner.

Played Sunset Hills last week. Course overall was in good shape and the greens were in excellent shape. Haven’t played it in probably 20 years and will be going back. Also had a BOGO which was nice. And had an early tee time which resulted in just under a 3:30 round.
My home track, glad to hear you enjoyed it! Nothing fancy, but still a great neighborhood golf course. My Dad retired last year and now works on the grounds crew here and they’ve done a great job with the greens. The new owners purchased the course and restaurant two years ago and have been putting quite a bit of money into both to make improvements.

I’ll never know what it’s like to win a match 7&6.
I have plenty of experience losing matches 7&6 though.
