Ope 4 - July 11th and 12th, 2025 (Raffle sheet in post 3800)

31 days of it, weight the same as 32 days ago…it fucking blows.

Keep pushing, once you break the first plateau it moves quickly. I’m down like 4 lbs since last weigh in, but I’ll step it up after valentines/birthday weekend

Yeah I’m still waiting for any progress, never ran into a month long plateau before.

Mr. @meathaus are you available to speak with the Ope Journal?

Brother. Same. Had a health scare about 12 days or so ago. Wake up call.

I’m not a fish guy, never have been. And yeah, this wasn’t my choice, what she picked for the box. Had grouper on Monday and a shrimp bowl yesterday. My kingdom for a steak!

I said you live in Florida, not that you are Floridian. Gotta be raised with it.

Also grouper slaps

Not sure if you’ve had it, but would highly recommend Wahoo, its fish that eats like a steak

I think I am going to have to go with Shepherds Crook (barely in Illinois). Fun layout and very well priced for what you get.

As a transplant, I can’t say I have the best grasp on this but will say Italian Beef.

I will take some liberty here and give a few:
Comedy: Tommy Boy
Action: The Dark Knight Rises
Drama(?): Twister

I would have been OK with you voiding my win given the clown cosplay my duck had on

This is a tough one as I’m not beholden to any particular oem, think I’ve got like 5 OEM in the bag at present. If I had to pick just one, for top to bottom set I would probably go with Titleist. Have had good success (all relative!) with the driver I have, and love the hybrid, also the 690mbs are good stuff though I’ve not played any more current irons! And for wedges I hear great things about Vokey wedges.

The one OEM I’m likely done with despite having a line on screaming deal prices is Cobra. Two irons snapped at the hosle on ball contact, and the back crown of a driver blew out on me. Poor customer service on the driver too.

I’m a ride or die maxfli guy, so I’d take a years supply of those if offered. Give me some variety though, some of the white, and yellow tours and I’ll be happy as a pig in shit.

Quite possibly the most difficult of the three questions, and one that required some thought. In a close one I think I’m gonna roll with Green Day. Dookie might be the first album I remember buying, shout out Columbia house! And outside their big name hits they’ve got some good deeper cuts like Who Wrote Holden Caulfield? and Jesus of Suburbia. Can’t really go wrong with either though, and blink 182 probably a bit more fun/carefree when the mood hits.

I’d like to thank the Ope Journal for taking the time to ask these questions!

I feel like Warning doesn’t get enough appreciation for how solid of an album it is. Waiting is one of my favourite Green Day songs.

On to topic of Green Day or Blink 182, y’all should check out Alex Melton on YT. He does awesome emo/pop punk covers of all kinds of shit.
