Shutting down golf for the next ~two weeks till this shindig kicks off - dealing with a bulged disc SUCKS. All T’s and P’s appreciated.
Oh man, all good thoughts your way. I’ve been going to PT for the last three weeks for a back issue I’ve been dealing with since Feb that is probably more spinal than muscular than I’d care to admit. Take it easy!
Obviously all cases are different but a week long prescription of prednisone did wonders compared to epidural steroid injection
Maybe ill take it home then because James is fully anti-Sifford lately
This bothers me. @JamesHCard i need a comment.
Sifford is dreadful, simple as that. Better off trying to get in the money games on the putting green than playing on the “course”.
@MrVinegar206 i will hold off on making a decision based on the rest of the info I have gotten so far. So I will just continue to plan to play and be there. Sorry for the confusion and everything bro.
I held off on taking you and your guest’s name off too haha
I’m sure you can find a place that is doing rapid testing
I was just more worried about people in the groups not feeling comfortable. We’ve done our tests and came back negative. I just didn’t want to make someone who was playing feel uncomfortable.
I’ll just make sure not to make out with you inside a building.
If you remain symptom free for the next couple weeks it would be highly unlikely you’d have a virus to spread not medical advice plus I imagine many attendees are vaccinated by now. Your transparency should be applauded just in case anyone is uncomfortable though.
Well that’s all I wanted to make sure that everyone was cool with it. I’ve already gotten my first shot and I actually get my second shot on the Thursday of the tourney week. So home course day is going to be amazing.
Drink lots of water and take some Tylenol and hopefully you’ll survive haha
Some medical advice from a physician (my mother):
If you’re able to separate from the person who tested positive, you are cleared after:
-7 days and then a negative test
-10 days with no test
Monitor how you feel in either case, if you start feeling symptoms between 7/10 days and 14 days get tested right away
If you are unable to separate from the person who tested positive, you’ll have to wait the full 14 days, provided you have no symptoms
Edit: I want to add for anyone who might be using this advice to apply to their own situation. None of this matters if you’ve been fully vaccinated, you don’t need to quarantine unless you start feeling symptoms
What’s the drinking water situation like on the courses we’re playing? NC regulations have been relaxed enough for courses to start putting water coolers back out on the course. What’s it like in Washington?
Unlikely to have water coolers out and about. Haven’t seen any yet this year and doubt they will show up by the OP. Bring a good sized bottle and fill up at the turn.
^The situation at all three courses we will be playing I’m pretty sure
I always stay strapped with the 32 oz Gatorade bottle
