A new event for central Ohio in 2026, The Ham & Egg. The name pays homage to golf partners who complement each other well, which will be critical for the format of this event. After the golf, I am working with the course to plan a meal for the group.

Course: Virtues Golf Club, Nashport, Ohio

Format: Partner Net Best Ball. Each player on the 2 person team will play their own ball, and the best net score among them will count as the team score for that hole. There will be prizes for the winning Net and Gross teams.

Date: Saturday, June 6th, 2026

Time: 1:40-3:00 Tee Times (36 players)

Cost: $120 per player (includes golf/meal/prizes/charity donation). A $50 deposit will be due to me via Venmo (AZacOfAllTrades) upon registration and final payment must be made by May 1st to participate.

Registration: There will be 36 spots available. You can signup with a partner or as a single. Singles will be paired up approximately 1 month before the event. As the event gets closer, I will likely set it up within Unknown Golf for scoring. More on that later. Signup is in post 11.

Does the partner have to be a Nest member too or does that not matter?

I’m going to decree that at least 1 player on each team must be a Nest member, so this would be fine.
