@cussingmussel made a point to me during the round that we, as an extremely haphazard but increasingly formidable team, were embodying everything great about Welcome to The Rock. It’s one thing to be inspired by a cinematic masterpiece. It’s another thing entirely to take that inspiration and personify the excellence that oozes off the screen and into your soul.
The crucible of competition demanded much of us: duos thrown together by happenstance and hastily-organized hat draws needed to bond quickly and find success. And holy mother of god did we all do that.

Congrats again to @beaumeyer and @spicychimis for their net victory which is almost certainly a net-alt shot course record at Split Rock which is pretty incredible given that these were probably the first ever Scotch Foursomes rounds ever played at that course.
@cussingmussel and I vibe’d our way to a gross victory via a scorecard playoff and a chip-in on 15 that was a direct result of paying homage to the split rock just moments earlier.
I’m working with Chad on Order of Merit point breakdowns for the results. Mega priority/percentage will be given to the net winners.
We are also going to be able to send a considerable donation to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as well which is all the more impressive given our field size. The tournament committee can’t thank you all enough for efforts.
