OATW NIT Qualifier - 4th Annual No Findlay-Ing Up - 5/4/2024

236 and 244 is what I put in the slack. Like I said, they do have a range there if you want to warm up a little. Pretty similar walk to sycamore.

Yo @jgolf1 what’s the word on pairings/tee time release?

Also if anyone is interested in getting in a match for the match play I’ll be your huckleberry.

Will definitely be trying to sneak in a match Saturday as well.

I’d be down to play if we can get the Cap to pair us up.

Hey guys, just as a heads up, I will be running a 50/50 raffle and a prize raffle at the event, so you may want to bring some cash. All proceeds will go to the charitable cause. I will try to have a print out of my Venmo and PayPal QR codes in order to make it easier to use those, but cash is always easier.

For the prize raffle, I will be taking item donations. Any time will work, but if you have a few smaller items, let’s make those into a bundle.

I’ve started us with a bottle and tube of EH Taylor small batch. Any donations can be listed on this sheet No Findlaying Up Prize Sheet - Google Sheets

Tickets for the 50/50 will likely be a few bucks each with a discount for buying more, like usual

Tickets for the prize raffle will depend on how many donations we get.

I have rolls of 250 tickets for each raffle, and that’s it, so I’d like to sell them all. For the prize raffle, you’ll never have worse than a 1/250 chance to win, and we will allow folks to pick a prize as their name is drawn, so you will need to be there to pick your prize.

Let’s raise some money and get some folks heading home with some cool souvenirs for the day

Unrelated to the raffle, I recall a cart girl at the event in the past, are they cash only?

IFFFFFF there’s a cart person they would be cash only. Bar takes card.

I know there was a cart person one year, or at least I think there was. Ha!

We should have an extra charitable donation for those that may benefit for “winning a raffle” as cover for previous purchases.

Buddy, for the lift of me, I cannot make heads or tails of what this means lol

Just using the raffle as an excuse to bring extra golf stuff home you have already or wanted to purchase and buying away any guilt with charity.

Oh lol…that’s actually a very good and useful idea

If anyone wants to give a $20 donation, I will lie to your significant other about stuff you already purchased actually being from raffle wins at the event. Will do in text, post, by voice, or in person. Cash and Venmo accepted.

Are SO’s allowed at the event though? That’s the real question we should be beating into the ground.

I have to imagine the cost goes up if it involves rigging a raffle presentation in front of them.

For a $150 donation, my wife will take your wife out for several drinks during the event so she won’t be mad, and more likely to believe our lies, when you leave the event with an armful of merch you “won”

If anyone who purchased an OATW hat and has not received it yet I will have them in tow. If you didn’t purchase one you can go to hell.

Also happy to hand it off to someone if you won’t be attending, just tell me who.

Do we need to check in with the clubhouse for this? Feel like we did last year my mind is fuzzy on it.

Nope
