I can feel it down in my PLUMS
Thinking @cussingmussel and I would like to join for this but letting him confirm date/time work for him
Works for me. Plus it’s my birthday, and I think the bylaws state you have to let me win
We have ourselves a date.

Played my match with @wreckhockey yesterday at Darby Creek and had a great time! I’ll leave it to him for the official write up of the match. But it was a great introduction to OATW and I can’t wait to play in more events
You’re not out yet! It’s double elimination, so you’ve got at least one more match to play as well.
A veteran move letting the tedious write up come from the victor!
It was my pleasure to welcome @ek365210 to OATW events, and it was our honor to play the first match in the 2025 OATW Match Play. What started out as a really nice sunny spring afternoon at Darby Creek quickly turned into a blustery grey spring afternoon in what felt like North Dakota. I jumped out to a quick 2 up lead with a couple comfy pars, but Elisa immediately ham and egged the match back to square. I took a 2 up lead into the back nine, and even though my hands were at this point half numb, I was able to get on a run. When I finally made a birdie putt on 14 to close out the match 6&4 I think I was happier to get out of the wind than anything else.
Once again, thank you Elisa for a great match, and I hope you enjoy everything this roost can offer!
Took some time off from the internet this winter and bummed I missed the deadline. Good luck to everyone!
A day was had at the illustrious Ellsworth Meadows today. Write ups coming soon with some amazing media.
So… I got blown out. @Cramptcm won our matchup today.
With handicaps within 0.1 we were able to play straight up from the tips at our shared home course, Losantiville. With pins in some WILD spots and winds steady in the 20s and gusting far north of that we were in for it.
I should’ve known I was really in for it on the first when, as I was studying my 15 foot birdie putt, Chris drained a chip from 25 yards in front of the green.
I completely lost a feel for the club on 3 tee and quickly found myself down 5 down through 6 and then down 6 when Chris chipped in for birdie from above the hole on 8 (like above the hole = if the chip hadn’t gone in he would’ve been pitching from 20 yards in front of the green).
I fought back slightly with wins on 10 and 11 before losing 5&4 on the 14th green.
Ok I know what you’re thinking another @jack67 @Gobrownies09 match (yes I tagged myself because whatever)
Shea gets 11 strokes (course 15 vs

I’m sitting in my bassment listening to Steely Dan ready to type

I’m sick of typing and I’ll just say Jack struck it very well today, but burned edges all day putting. I was on a heater and couldn’t be stopped. An absolute all timer was had on and off the course today. This place rules and long live matchplay.
Shea wins 6&4
4? FOUR??? Oh how the mighty have fallen
I appreciate @Gobrownies09 stopping where he did. If you do that math, you’ll see he won every hole on that back (!!!) until the 6&4 stomp was complete. He was even par from 10-14. Just quality shots, comfy pars, the bomb birdie.
The day was highlighted by the few (?) rounds of brews after on the patio. Was a great day for golf. @cussingmussel @waver82
Bracket has been updated as much as possible with what has been posted I believe.
As a reminder, if you lose your first round match, this is a DOUBLE ELIMINATION tournament. You’re not out yet!
@mharp defeats @auribe14 5 & 4. Mostly uninspiring golf, the victor will have to fill in the details.
Weather is not making this deadline easy.
