@auribe14 Has thrown out multiple dates to make a match between us work. Unfortunately none of those dates work for me within the window we have. So I’m going to have to give the forfeit and let him move on.

I think honestly we’re going to skip it. You’re the first person to ask and no one else has paid (other than me).
As long as everyone is okay with paying their way at the Final then we won’t worry about payment.

I just totally forgot. I’m happy to send over my $20. Having the final round paid for seems like a nice touch and fitting reward to the 2 guis that survived the gauntlet to get there.

Appreciate that. But with people now being knocked out without having paid I don’t think it’d be right. Unless people want to do it as a TC Way kind of thing?
Definitely need to find a better way next year because having the Final covered the last two years was definitely a nice touch for the Finalists.

I think since you posted prior that the 20 is still a reasonable ask. Having the finalists’ rounds covered is awesome. Happy to chip in since that’s what it goes to.

To be fully clear about where we are with money.
We have $85 in the Match Play fund. That’s after all of the $5 entry fees were collected and money was paid for the procurement of the pin flag from CCC and shipment too and from @Geaugolf for it to be made into a headcover.
I was planning on doing Final Four, Second Place, and Winner ball makers through @flanwilder again as well.
Any money paid from this point will 100% either go toward paying for the greens fees of the finalists or charity of choice from the winner for whatever is left over after greens fees are paid. I don’t hold onto any money year to year.

Add me to the group that is happy to pay the $20 regardless of outcome.
That said, I’d rather have the fee be a one-time all-in type of deal at the beginning of the match play season. I think with that you 1) incentivize people to play more in the open/pod play and 2) don’t have to deal with it now. Food for thought.
