NY Roost Major: The Shepherds Open @ Keney Park (September 10th, 2023)

RACDG NY Metro Roost is proud to announce the 3rd annual Shepherds Open at Keney Park in Hartford, CT. The event will be an individual quota competition with the winner, assuming you’re in the Nest, qualifying for the NIT. You can sign up for the event on our website. Spots are unlimited as of now (based on demand we may be able to rent the course)

Cost will be $85 which will include lunch at the turn and cash prizes to the top finishers. Keney Park is arguably the best value in the country and you can read more about it in the write up on our signup page.

I also want to mention that the US Mid-Am will be held at Sleepy Hollow during this time and there are plans for many in NY to play in this event and then go to the Mid-Am the next day.

(Note: Sleepy is about 90 mins from Keney)

I’ll tack on that the following day is the Round of 64 Match Play day so plenty of golf to watch at Sleepy.
