Northwest Roost Regional - Seattle/Tacoma, 7/29-30

Hola, I’m looking for someone to play with. I’m part of the PNW Crew and also a member there, at Chambers, haven’t posted the time for others, my crew’s Discord, but if you want a spot, you got it. I’m sure I can round up two more.

Just a reminder zoom call tonight for captains/participants. @MrVinegar206 is gonna run this one high and tight. Going to discuss format, rules, extracurricular activities.

Got a link? I don’t have anything going on, and as usual, I have a lot to say.

If gambling was legal in Hawaii I would put all my nuggies on Team Canada to shock the world at the Regional.

All the stars are aligned

  • @Sarah has been a menace practicing this year and her vibe/grind ratio will be off the charts at Chambers.

  • Team Mayhem is officially carrying the banner for all the High Caps in North America. Can NorCal and PNW respond with their squads? I don’t think so. Too many pops/low quota goals to overcome.

Shut up, nerd.

Paddy putting up some early bulletin board material, calling me out as old!

(the fact that it was accurate and in good humor entirely misses the point)

The high cap situation is noted. A regular debate amongst our roost is why we are all such high caps - are we that bad (likely) or is golf just harder on this side of the border (which is the consensus after a few beers).

Ice beers, obviously.

Is John Peterson…….ok?

I looked through his timeline a bit. He is not ok, worms have taken over his brain.

Dinner plans Saturday night:
A couple of us did some investigating and couldn’t find a place to fit us all :slightly_frowning_face:

Ted and I agreed that we should split up, find our own dinner places, and have an earlyish dinner. The plan is to meet up at the 7 Seas brewery:

3207 57th St. Ct., Gig Harbor, WA 98335

Let’s plan on the latest of showing up is 7pm. Some of us PNW folk likely won’t make the trek home beforehand. So, if you finish dinner early, you can definitely come before 7 since we’ll probably be there before then.

We can also reassess this on Saturday afternoon depending on how long the after round beer lasts

Cheers. We’ll see each other soon!

Greetings!!

Myself, along with 7 other North Carolinians will be making our maiden voyage out to Bandon in March of 2025. We will be flying into SeaTac and playing Chambers prior to making the drive down to Bandon. I have been communicating with Anthony (CB) over the past several months and have not got a lot of info(expected) other than he would get us set up when sheets became available. Now, he is telling me to be on the lookout for the advanced tee time reservations online beginning tomorrow and to proceed that way. That brings me to my question. I am unsure how much extra $$ advanced booking will add to an already steep non-resident rate. If we decide not to pay the advanced booking rate 120+ days out, how good are our chances to lock in 2 back to back tee times on a Saturday Morning closer to March? Thanks for any info you can provide.

To be honest with you, probably unlikely to snag 2 back to back for a morning time without paying the premium. Locals had a very difficult time snagging decent times this year (regardless of the day of the week even) so would recommend just snagging it in advance and not sweating it out closer to.
