Howdy folks,
Looking forward to this event! I have a buddy coming in from the UK to visit and we are attending the NSS. I have no doubt the members of this community will welcome him with open arms. Just tossing this out there ( in true Strapped/ TS fashion) to see if anyone was interested in being our Sherpa? Or sherpa-adjacent. Maybe a local to help us point us in the right direction and maybe even toss a little local knowledge on the fire. Where are we hangin after? Best way to get there? Anything notable we can include my guy in during his visit here?
Have you never had a chance to see Gross National up close but would like to before the NSS? Do the 8 minute tee times and assured 5 hour round scare you off? Well Iāve got good news - I booked a 6:16 am for next Sunday, 7/9. Got three more spots if anyoneās interested!
Sorry for the delay in registering, as the summer has been taken over by soccer reffing responsibilities and wasnāt sure what the 15th was going to bring. With that being said, I am in and registered.
Cold blooded as usual @Mystic but that scouting report might be perfect for me. Iāve been chunking lots of wedges and 3-putting more than normal this year. Also, not sure I remember how to punch out of trees!
Mr. @bignanski sir, I am getting pretty fired up for next Saturday. Has the committee identified a method for the selection of those 8 teams for the morning round?
Edit: @kcurry11 and I still have 2 spots for our 6:16 am tee time next Sunday at Gross on a recon mission.
Due to a variety of factors (primarily lack of available time) I will be randomly assigning teams with an emphasis on keeping the average handicap index of each team uniform. Not as fun as a draft, but a lot easier to manage.
