New date changes things for me, but I was never going to be able to commit so far out anyway. But still hoping to make it work.

Legitimate proposal:

Dakota Winds in Hankinson.

Stay and Play at Dakota Magic (now with a sports book).

Get the super to do both routings in one weekend on this 27 hole reversible gem of a course.

Who’d win? A tiny a spineless insect? Or a bed bug?

I thought people of the North were a hardy folk. Turns out that was a lie.

In all seriousness, I heard bed bugs are like chicken pox. You can only get them once. No, don’t Google that. Just take my word.

Nothing like driving 4 hours to the middle of nowhere for “team building” and playing golf with 3 other coworkers you don’t like and getting bed bugs.

Bed bugs = invisible killer. It’s the bugs you can’t see that you need to worry about!

I’m innnnn

Good, put it on the sheet

Nothing like going to a sports book in ND during one of the worst sports weekends during the year

Is the date official? Feels like the whole event is a fluid situation.

Threads existed a few hours and it was 7/16 now 7/9. No course. Hardly a date.

Scene is tough.

Guess I need to step in here.

This is the NORTH STAR Shootout folks. It’s not required to take place in the metro. That being said….what if I told you a great course exists 2 hours straight west of the metro?

You can play this course 3x, get two nights at a hotel attached to the casino, AND get a $50 voucher to spend on food/booze. How much would expect to pay? $500? $700???

I present to you all…Dacotah Ridge for the price of $300 TOTAL. Even less when you win it all back at the table

I’m going to remember this place next time I have to visit my in-laws out that way in Minnesota.
