I had to throw this up here, after watching @MerchCzar explanation of the rogue 4 iron in his bag my mind was completely blown, to go back to the apex 3 iron because he felt he could be more versatile seem to be quite the interesting move.
BUT THEN as I was re-watching strapped Baltimore he had the 4 iron out of the bag because the ferrule was loose.
please someone tell me I’m not the only person that caught this.
So I am glad you guys are talking about this, because collecting score cards is something I just started to do. I heard Tony Kornheiser talk about how he has collected scorecards from every round of golf over like a 40 year period. And I have been looking for a keep sake to collect that wasn’t expensive, so I have kept all scorecards, even from bad rounds and non fancy golf courses. I also start doing journal entries about each round matching the scorecard… Does this make me a psychopath?
Soly is definitely the first good player I’ve heard of doing this. When I worked the bag room as a kid, a lot of old guis would have at least 5 or 6 on the bag. This is just because they were cheap (I know this from their lack of tipping).
If I’m gonna bust his balls for having 15 gloves–which is insane–I also have to note that I love this idea and will implement it next season. Even if my “keepers” are anything under 82.
I always have 2 thoughts when he references this: his collection is probably sick, and if he wasn’t so afraid of flying his collection would probably be beyond sick.
I try to grab a card from every new course I’ve played for a constantly growing volume of scrapbooks. A couple in there include scores, but most are blank.
