NLU Pro Shop (Part 2)

Just catching up in here and this took me back. I use to work a job that had me driving to service calls around my county and I would try to time leaving the office so that I could maximize the radio time with minimum commercials. The day Mike & Mike switched from a radio structured broadcast to a TV structured broadcast was a sad day.

Congrats on the new baby! And also congrats for saying this to a very pregnant woman and not being murdered.

I too worked a job that had me in the car for 9-12 hours a day.

Had the satellite radio plugged into lighter port before they started putting into cars.

Same! The radio I used ended up being so old that they couldn’t remotely disconnect it. So I had a couple of years of free XM. The only problem was the radio was breaking so changing channels was a bit of a crapshoot and you had to know how to do it. Luckily I was born during a time when changing stations on a TV wasn’t straightforward. So I was well trained and prepared. Man, those were the days.

Groveton or Trinity? I live in Lufkin and work in Livingston so in the area.

Went to HS in Groveton. Grew up in community of Friday. Small world man. It’s funny, when I describe where I’m from in ETX, I always reference in between Lufkin and Huntsville.

Everyone who calls into a radio show should have to announce their height and weight.

It’ll be okay, teams tune it around. Who knows in 15 years you might be on the other side of the come up and suck again.

I’ve had my eye on those since I love everything else I have from H&B. How’s the fit?

I love mine. It fits slightly tighter than the NLU black puffy one I have, but not a ton. Super comfortable and warm.

Did you order the same size as your other H&B stuff?

No. I wear Large in Polo’s, but XL in outerwear. I went XL in the vest

Fit is really good. I am 6’2", and the length hits right at my beltline which is where all of the golf outerwear that I have bought in the last couple of years hits.

It’s very high quality which I expect from H&B.

I feel very good about the purchase.
