First FTP test! Interestingly, I had estimates for FTP zones showing up prior to the test and this actually moved my zones down a few points. At least I have a baseline and can see progress in the future!
Redid the Alex ride tonight - 10% drop off from the last time. Live rides really change my energy level.

My nomination for ride of the week is Ally’s HIIT and Hills ride from 1/27. I really like the class format of having both HIIT sections and climb sections. I also really enjoy classes with Ally, and I have only seen a little talk of her classes in this thread so far. Alex, Ally, and Cody are my personal top 3 of favorite instructors. If you like this class format, Alex has the same style class from the same date that is really good.

I find doing the warm up/cool down rides before/after these classes has been great for recovery
There are two Peloton bikes in the gym of my office building. Im going to have to sign up and do this! Looks like fun!

Just did my first ride with Matt tonight. Just tabata ride. He seems like he is into the science and is a cyclist not just a trainer
Just took the weekly ride and I’m definitely not going to make any new friends this week with the selection. It’s a great workout though!
it does, my foot was swollen for a few months so i couldnt fit my foot in my clips and was just using regular shoes and it felt the same. first ride back with the clips i did a personal record by like 30 without even trying.

Oh man, I’ve been on a Peloton for just over two years - - - right now I’m in the middle of a 6 week power zone plan (I’m a PZP’er) and finishing up the Ander Speers weight program so I don’t have room for extra group rides - - - but I’m definitely jumping on this later this spring for motivation. #GrindtiliFindit
Yeah, MW is very much a cyclist, he music choices are pretty bad, BUT . . . in terms of learning pedal efficiency, technique, etc… he has been the most helpful coach. I’ve ridden Power Zone with him since spring '18 and it helped my fitness out a ton.

Yea the music and him trying to dance to it, made me laugh. Not everyone can be Alex, which is fine. Find your niche and use that to motivate the riders. MW has me intrigued though so i will be doing more rides with him.
