The climb ride was a beast. About 5 minutes in, I started watching the clock, never a good sign.
Digital subscription revenue accounted for 2% of Peloton’s revenue in the just reported quarter.
The main subscription was 22% with 76% being the hardware and a de minimus amount in other accessories.
Sheesh…2% thats not great. I would have thought it would have been higher. Was wrong on that stance for sure.
Almost in the 300 club!
And that 2% is bigger than zwift.
I know right SO CLOSE. I’ve done it twice in the last month or so but I would have had to go at that level 4 out of 5 for the whole minute cool down to break it here and I use that minute as it’s intended most of the time. Descending recovery! Lol.
This crowd has me reconsidering the descending recovery since I almost always get in a 5 minute cool down. Rather than descending I’ve been recovering at the middle/top of Z2. Still feels odd bc I like following instructions.
and for that reason, my boney ass is out
To be fair she did say if you wanted to get up out of the saddle at each “turn” aka end of each song you could and she even cues it
Mentally preparing for this ride.
Put in a little too much energy early on, but scumbagged it to hit a 300 output. Great suggestion, not sure if Christine will be a go to instructor.
I’ve come to hate H and H. It kicks my ass and I never get near a PR bc of the structure.
Exactly how I feel as well.
Probably short notice but I’m planning to hop into a live ride today if anybody wants to join for a friendly cycle. 30 min. 90’s rock ride with Ben Alldis at 12:30pm Est.
Christine is interesting. She and I are of similar age, and listened to similar music growing up so that part of her rides is often absolutely my jam. I do like that she is a bit easier on the rider (though this ride seems…not so much) and is very encouraging in a very positive way.
On the downside, she has like three stories that she tells ALL the time. I guess devoted CDE fans are into it, but man it gets super old listening to her talk about winning the gold medal (as impressive as that is), and so on. She’s the reason I discovered that you can turn the instructor down and music up.
