That’s true…I will just watch the first minute or two of the preview while I warm up…just to see what they do.
I will say that IMO…Dennis always does hard rides. They are rough

Nice! I’ll plan on getting mine done tomorrow morning, as long as I don’t hit the snooze too many times. Haven’t done a HIIT class in a while. Any other 6-7am riders out there?

That was some fresh kind of hell this morning. The max pushes are brutal - but at least it’s now done!

Thanks! I’ve been riding for about 2 years now but no real cycling background beyond that. I honestly think it mainly comes down to size/leverage and focusing on my technique. I’m 6’4” so I can tend to leverage that on the higher resistance rides. The endurance/cadence rides are harder for me.

I’m only 5’10’’ but have been cycling for ~7 years. You’ll learn to ride at the top of the speed ranges to balance this out. Me and one buddy (who probably has 40 lbs on me) are hyper competitive on this thing and when we end up with comparable outputs I tend to keep my avg speed in the 90s of RPM where he sits in the low 80s but is ~3-5 higher in average resistance.

All a matter of finding whats most comfortable, which is why the instructors give ranges.

Edit: In fairness to @Max_Power 94RPM at your height is absolutely scooting.

I think that was my first HIIT class and first with Matt. Always fun to try something new. The 12 min warmup had me concerned for what was to come and it was pretty wild to drop resistance down to 20 in between efforts. I’ll have to try another one next week. I almost laughed when he said that wasn’t a hard ride at the end.
