Ladies, what are y’all doing for golf skirts? My wife has a couple of Nike ones where she likes the material but feels they’re too long. I don’t know enough about the women’s apparel game to recommend another brand though.
Lululemon would probably serve her well! Really cute running and tennis skirts that aren’t too long.
I also like puma. Have this one in a bunch of colours
This adidas skirt is my favorite one I’ve purchased recently.

Very similar in our household. I never take mine off, my wife takes both of her rings off occasionally.
I don’t even notice it playing golf or hockey anymore. I think it pinched my finger a couple times the first time I played with it on, just not even a second thought now. And it’s a stainless steel band too.
Mine is a gold classic band and I also never take it off. Don’t even realize it’s there at this point.
I cannot play with mine on, big knuckles, skinny fingers is a bad combo. I can feel it jammed against the grip because it isn’t tight tight on my finger. I’m been thinking about making the switch to a silicone ring after trying one on and really liking it. I also feel very weird when I don’t have my ring on, it’s like my own personal calming fidget.
I almost always take it off before I leave the house though because I am terrified of losing it on the course.
I’m team never take my wedding ring off. I don’t feel in in my grip/swing at all. I def have a callus on my hand from where it rubs just under my knuckle though lol.
Mine is titanium, super light and with the glove over it I don’t feel it at all. When I first started playing with the ring it was a thing, but I literally almost never take it off whatsoever.
I went a different route and my ring is wood, so I put it in my valuables pocket when I play. It feels plenty strong but I don’t want to take the risk of cracking it when it’s going to be covered by a glove anyway. I got a silicone ring with it too though so I might start trying that.
I like my Under Armour one.
The rollback debate has officially jumped the shark.
I’m a huge fan of puma pwrshape skorts/skirt-with-spandex. They can be a little bit expensive if you are getting retail, but you can definitely find new with tags ones on eBay/Poshmark/Mercari/other secondhand store.
They can be a teeny bit short, depending on people’s preference, but, it also depends on what people’s proportions are.
On the ring front, I know I’ll be in the minority, it during the pandemic I got out of the habit of wearing it. Before I never wore it to the course (never liked the feel, swelling in hot weather). I don’t judge anyone either way.
Happy International Women’s Golf Day! ♀:tada:
Are you playing today??
Funny enough, Tuesday’s are men’s night at my club but my game has been painfully bad as of late, as you can see on Grint, my mental game is just as bad and my frustration level is through the roof, so I’m thinking it maybe time for a day off. That said, I’m not totally ruling it out lol
I hope you’re playing!!
Yup! Doing a chill twilight outing at a local exec course.
I played! Terribly. Very terribly. But I played?
You bet! Helped run a women’s tournament until1:30, then played. As my playing partner said, “Today was like golf camp!”
Didn’t know if this was the right place to put this, but the fashion thread in the bag room seemed more centered around men’s fashion, or potentially unisex fashion. Also, besides the white jumpsuit Soly made Neil wear during Neil’s caddying gig, I haven’t seen jumpsuits + golf for men.
Ladies and those who enjoy wearing women’s clothes & fashion:
Do you have any reviews or recommendations for jumpsuits or rompers one could play golf in?
For reference, my introduction to this sort of item was the Puma Twilight jumpsuit, pictured below:
I really like that it’s an actual multifunction piece and can be worn for golf AND for work (I teach, so business casual is about the level I need). I also like that it’s one piece so I don’t have to worry about matching things all the time.
So…any thoughts? Pants or shorts are fine, as are sleeveless or sleeves!
