I used to swing this way as well so I know how it goes. 30% you time it right and hit it straight, 50% high weak block/cuts when you leave the face open, 20% smother hooks from flipping the hands too early.
āDonāt cross the lineā is such a good simple line for shot shapers out there.
So many times Iāve been on the range trying to keep a draw landing right of the target and instead saying to myself:

The most āIm in this picture and I donāt like itā part for me was when Heuber said āYour fade swing has some draw tendenciesā
As someone who has been (unsucsessfully) trying to learn to shape the ball left to right off the tee I winced a little bit at that one
My exaggerated over the top pre shot routine results in a 2 yard draw instead of an 8 yard draw
I believe they make a couple comments about the gasparilla, so this would have been filmed after
Would you care for an unsolicited observation from someone whoās seen you pummel the ball in person?
@Soly I think Iāve watched every video you guys have put out and I canāt help but feel like you just donāt miss much inside 6 feet, even with the equipment changes. I feel like itās all but guaranteed you can the comebacker like the one on 4(?)
Is this true in your non-filmed rounds as well?
And again on 5
8 made it move.
Servpro is such a good sponsor for this series. The ad copy basically writes itself!!!
Awesome playing @Soly - can you provide some insight on what yardages you feel like may be a flagstick go zone vs a safe shot? You mentioned a good bit about āX is a birdie holeā. What makes it so?
You rang?
Would be interested, but not until sunday. My swing is grooving right now and I have the duel tomorrow. Canāt have any new swing thoughts out there taking on big scott
Hueberās ever so subtle shaking of the head combined with confused / concerned face as @Soly suggests the wide open face 60° ![]()
I am in short game wedge wilderness so I very much enjoyed this bit.
Love this series.
Iām so so sorry to do this but it just tickles meā¦I have very much enjoyed this series.
But itās clear that they filmed all three of these on the same day, and I love love the fact that they had Hueber change each time but Soly and Casey didnāt change despite being in the background since they were filming. Obv Hueber is the main character, but Iāve enjoyed his outfit change each time
Iām sorry to point it out but Iām neurotic and canāt help but notice this things ![]()
Caseyās (see Soly)
KVVās (see Soly and Casey); love the bright blue on Hueber in this one
Solyās (see Casey)
I noticed this as well. It was like when I learned that Jeopardy! films an entire week of shows per day.
So funny. I noticed that they filmed it all the same day, but not that Hueber changes his shirt for each lesson!
Wait what - winners literally compete back to back?
Yes. They generally film 2 days a week. 46 days per year. Itās a sweet gig.
I think I have an idea how:

āWe hope these sadists and sociopaths are doomed to a life of watching their teams lose in overtime and Paul Azinger narrating their every activity.ā
This sucks all around. Glad to see thereās some quick progress made to repair before the tournament.
@Soly any word on the ground as to what or why the hell this happened?
