Sooooo…I may (or may not) have pissed my pants with laughter on my drive in this morning. Elk is a total Beauty. The whole “custard castle” bit with Monty put me over the edge. I haven’t laughed that hard in years.

Absolute gold
I really enjoyed some of the Tiger anecdotes too, like when he told Elk to go kick ass on Sunday at Whistling Straights in 2010. The Lee Trevino and Tommy Smothers stuff towards the end was excellent as well.

I used to dislike Elkington (not even sure why). He’s gone to the top of my list after that pod. Absolutely fantastic.

I don’t care for Elk’s politics, but that’s fine. It’s refreshing to hear someone absolutely unafraid to tell stories and not tow the corporate line.
He was a joy to watch as a player. That swing was a thing of beauty.

Wow, almost crashed the car driving to work this morning because I was laughing so hard. Any way to get him on the pod more would be a win. Sheesh, the Bubba stuff too? Ruthless. And how he keeps going back to, “so wait, you’re really a Phil guy?”

One of the best Podcast guests ever, no doubt. Elk is an absolutely phenomenal storyteller. I’ve heard the Monty custard story before, and it just never gets old.
The aussies have always been gold I feel like on their interviews… this was 
Elk = Tron Carter with world class golf game.
