I’m surprised he didn’t fall from a 25th story window.
Defenestration at 25,000 feet way more impressive, imo
Every single person who voluntarily got in the the plane with him is a fucking idiot. Well, was a fucking idiot…
The “let’s get disruptive in the bathroom” line by @MerchCzar really got me. Good stuff.
@Cody curious about your pronunciation of Hot Dog Man’s last name (Pro zin ga?) vs how I’ve heard it on most news outlets (Prih gho zin?)
I’m largely ignorant of regional differences, rough translations etc.
Or am I just mishearing?
I was gonna say, there’s no way that’s how it’s pronounced. Thought he was talking about a former Mavs center for a second.
I mess it up almost every time. Which is why i try to stick to hot dog man. JBrooks is correct on why it is difficult for me. When I see the name, I think of Prozingis.
#cheapdumbplug baby
It’s a little bit easier said than done than that. Regular ol wall plugs just don’t provide enough juice. (ie: a “regular” 120v/15a provides 1.8kW per hour. My Chevy bolt is a 65kWh pack, so, just 30hr to charge from 0-100. The hummer EV has a 220kWh pack at the largest option…that’ll be about 5 days). The “easy/dumb” answer is a dryer outlet in a 40 amp line. Some OEMs are including chargers that plug into a standard 220 plug.
What kills me is the number of different providers/apps/silliness. To own and drive an ev and charge publicly you need 3+ apps/memberships/whatnot. A lot of OEMs have started to integrate some of the handshake into the car itself, but you still need to do the front end work to connect all your accounts. (Maybe this is sort of the point of the tweet, but, it ignores charging at home).
Speaking of must haves for traveling, can’t recommend something like this enough (sold out but Bellroy and others make similar products). Keeps all the cords and adapters in one place, easy to reach for on a plane.
Shout out to @MerchCzar and @cody for a banger of a booth episode. The public toilet discussion had me laughing hysterically as I traversed SW Ohio. The deadpan discussion of analog technology was great.
Neil, if you want any packing tips on golf headwear for a trip hit me up. I generally pack 5-7 hats for a trip of a week or less (yes, I have a problem. You don’t even want to know about the belts).
What the hell is this, VIP (privileged) information only Neil can receive?! Let the people know!!
When I went to Bandon recently one of my friends traveled with something like this
Granted, he drove from Seattle. But it seems like this could be a personal item or get stuffed into a duffle as well if the concern is maintaining the hat shape integrity.
I have always stuffed the opening of the cap with socks/underwear along with placing more sock are underwear under the brim to maintain its shape. Has yet to fail me in my years of travel.
Free advice, but you get what you pay for. I’m talking more about headwear/outfit coordination. Sounds like our man @MerchCzar struggles with having the right hats for his scripting.
I’ve looked at this one and surprisingly never seen it mentioned despite the Jones cult on here. Seems to be a way less intense and space saving option:
Can we get some thoughts on preferred steamer trunks to go with these hat boxes?
Welcome to the Sienna gang @Cody keep preaching the minivan gospel.
@Cody’s sleep habits are deeply concerning. Sounds like you need to go to bed later, rather than lying there for an hour worrying about past/present/future issues.
