@MerchCzar if you’re looking for something similar to the Pacific or Band of Brothers look up Masters of the air on Apple TV. It’s a 3rd series about the 100th bomb group and is very solid.

I watched that. It was fine. The Disney channel version of The Pacific and BoB. CGI sucks. They don’t make them like they used to! We don’t blow up real stuff in the movies anymore!
Also, Austin Butler is WILDLY overrated.

Ya there was a ton of CGI. Unfortunately there’s not too many flying fortresses left that are still airworthy but I agree that they should have found a way to use more practical effects. The story also felt very cramped in comparison to the first two series. Each episode was only 45ish minutes and only 9 episodes instead of 10 so it all felt very rushed to me.
BoB >The Pacific>>>>>>MOA for me. If I’m picking one to rewatch it’s band of brothers but the Pacific portrays the brutality of war in a much more impactful way.

@MerchCzar on the last pod you mentioned your pooch needed to loose a couple pounds. I have a golden who loves food, of course, and I mentioned to the vet that I wanted to make sure he was satiated when he ate because he was a few pounds overweight as well. Hand up, I was feeding him too much even though I play fetch with him daily.
The vet recommended giving him some frozen veggies. I’ve been putting about a 1/2 cup of frozen veggies in a bowl of hot water for a minute or two and then adding them to his night meal. Its really helped!!

Will echo this - my parents had a berner who was definitely overweight. Vet suggested the same thing so they’d do like half kibble half frozen carrots and broccoli. I had never seen a dog so happy than when mojo got his broccoli.

Had a chuckle at the @MerchCzar in the last session giving advice to us Canadians about Tron and his bit about us…telling us we just feed the fire of the bit for TC because we get so upset.

With regards to the Brady announcing stuff: I’m glad Cody emphasized thre important of the pre production meetings. Brady isn’t even allowed in the buildings, let alone to sit down and talk with guys. The part I think was overlooked is how restricted he is on what he can say on air. He can’t criticize the refs like Aikman does. If he criticizes coaches or players, he can and should be hit with a grievance from their respective unions. He is a team owner, and by most accounts, making a lot of the personnel and organizational decisions. Him criticizing people, especially by highlighting them with the telestrator, will be viewed as him tampering/driving down the value of that player or coach
Let’s take Trey Smith for example. He’s a very good player who is about to be a free agent. Like the rest of the chiefs OL, he played poorly during the Super Bowl, but if an owner of one of the 32 teams is on the biggest broadcast in the world highlighting him and telling everyone how bad he’s playing three weeks before he starts negotiating the biggest contract he’ll ever get, he 100% should be sending every lawyer, agent, and union official after Brady that he can. It’s exactly why you shouldn’t be able to be an owner and broadcaster at the same time, let alone the fact that he became an owner because Fox gave him such a wildly over market value contract and he was able to use that money to buy into the raiders

Agree on Masters of the Air, wasn’t even close to the quality of The Pacific and BoB. If you haven’t seen already, would highly recommend the movie Memphis Belle from early 90s which focuses on a B-17 flying their last mission in Europe. Stellar cast, as well.

How are you all in on White Lotus S3? There is 1 redeeming story and thats Walton Goggings and Aimee Woods characters, and Sam Rockwell by association.
Everything else is just bad or boring shock value with horrible characters. And the travel porn aspect is not there for me either. But as a Bravo fan I’m guessing the gals trip story line is working for you?
Don’t get me started on the dream/daydream sequences, lazy writing. I could not be more bored but at this point am invested and just waiting/begging for the massacre to start. I hope they all go. Mini rant over 
American Primeval rocks though.

Can’t imagine thinking dropping Jennifer Coolidge was anything but an upgrade tbh. Have very much enjoyed this season.
