The second being from a show my buddy dragged me to that ended up being an absolutly fantastic experience. Clutch was there so i figured why not, and ended up having a chat with Bill Kelliher (and eventually taking a guitar lesson from him a year later) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Kp0LxKTZhk
I canāt bear this post only getting one like and no replies, so two days later . . . yes, yes I did stream the #THSBB shows. My third, fourth, and fifth virtual shows of this yearānot the same, but better than nothing I guess.
We watched Friday live. We were getting ready to watch Saturday at 9 then realized that one started earlier lol! So weāll watch it on demand this week sometime. The 3rd night set list looked killer.
THS consistently have great shows/vibes. Canāt wait to REALLY see them live again!
Just FYI, I think they are only available for streaming through midnight tonightāI could be wrong but you might want to double-check!
Third night set was good, yeah. Adderall, Lord Iām Discouraged, Certain Songs (none of which were played the first two nights), and then finishing up with trio of YCMHLY, Stay Positive, and Killer Parties is tough to beat.
Very much agree on great shows, great vibes. Up there with Guided by Voices as some of my favorite/most fun shows to attend. Will be nice to do it for real again one of these days!
If you havenāt done so yet, check out The War on Drugsā live album LIVE DRUGS which came out last month. This version of Under the Pressure has been on repeat for me.
Tearing Me Up has become my morning anthem since rediscovering it. Iāve also come across this song which has the slow-roll-groovy-vibe Iām addicted to.
This album was my āairline travelā soundtrack back when I was on the road a lot. Sit down, put on the Bose headphones and crank this before takeoff. Set the mood. This opener is legit.
