Speaking of fashion, I am ashamed that I ever liked the late 90’s Sixers uniforms!
It’s wild that all the stuff from the 90’s is back
Shout out bucket hats
Man that’s a bummer, the Souls are all time. Always have a soft spot for this record
Was def one of my favorite Blink songs, if not #1. I believe I put it on a mix tape I made for my GF at the time. though I can’t confirm. I also can’t confirm if said GF is now my wife.
YES!! YC not getting enough play in this thread. Ocean Avenue is an amazing album, from the 1st to last song. I was on kick recently when that actual CD (yes) did not leave, and was actually played constantly, my car’s dash for months.
Fuck yeah, Rise Against. You going to the show next month?
Unfortunately no.
Having the Descendents and the Menzingers supporting is the literal best of both worlds of old and new punk.
I will chug a cold domestic in your honor and probably drunkenly send a picture from my seats. The show’s at Northerly Island and I’ve only heard terrible things about the place.
Needed to search this out to emphasize the true emotion the songs of Yellowcard conveyed. I new almost 95% of the details of where to find this. How could this not stick with you?
And I’m not sure of the rules here…is it “pop punk/emo”? Or can it be just EMO? We can’t forget the Crown Prince of EMO:

And
Oh hell yes - let’s break out Brand New all night.
Paging @bignanski
Speaking of old school & new school; you snagged me tickets for the sold out Bad Religion/Alkaline Trio show in Chicago in November right?
Oh boy.
I’m taking this back a few years into mid 90s pop punk - this shit was my jam in HS/College
Can we throw in some ska punk as well?
There is something about Face Down by RJA that just hits different. His voice, the lyrics, the rhythm and hits of the song. Man, it’s really good.
