This feels like one of those times I have told a story here before, forgot, posted it again. But I donāt care at all.
My wife is a big Incubus fan. Weāve spent our whole lives going to āmyā shows, so lately I have seen the Foo Fighters and Incubus. Which is fine, I suppose. I can groove to a tune or two from each.
We caught Incubus back in 2019. I had never seen them, I donāt know if she had. Canāt remember. I was super indifferent, but wanted to hear two songs: āCertain Shade of Greenā, which had like a 1% chance of happening, and āWarningā which was almost guaranteed.
About halfway through, I am ready to bounce. Then they played āWish You Were Hereā and I was sort of swayed. Good tune. That last WISH YOU WERE heerrreee is so god damn good.
Then it happened.
They started playing āWarningā and I was pretty stoked. The woahs at the end of Warning are some of my favorite woahs and I am a BIG woah guy. They get the woahs and Iām all in. Brandon does the woah, I smile, he does a 2nd woah and Iām in heaven, he does A THIRD NON RECORDED, LIVE ONLY WOAH and I almost pooped my pants. Just an absolute fucking powerhouse live. Dude looks like Steven Tyler or Anthony Keidis these days but fucker can sing.
Anyway, this has the extra woah and I love it so fucking much.

Bananas tune. I remember when Where the Wild Things Are came out and the trailer had this in it. Big fan, but I heard it back when I wanted to die, so that probably has something to do with it. Hahaha.
