Changed to “Forgotten Favorites”
Hell yeah
I guess this could be a forgotten fav it came up on my spotify and had me groovin
Rediscovered the Pogues over the weekend, watched the Shane Macgowan documentary Crock of Gold. What’s funny is the first time I discovered the Pogues was watching another documentary about him 20 years ago.
Fun fact: Macgowan was one of the first Sex Pistols fans, there is a good amount of footage of him front row at their shows. His first bit of fame came from having part of his ear bitten off at a Pistols show.
Also, his teeth were a mess, much like his life, he started drinking and smoking at the age of 6 with his aunt while learning the bible.
This song is a great example of their punk lineage (while playing traditional Irish music)
Edit: It was a Clash show where his ear was bitten
Time to show my Oasis love. Wonderwall isn’t in my top 25 songs by them and there is very few songs I don’t enjoy or love by them, even the solo content. It weird but I can’t describe the love i have

And that’s barely in English, posted before coffee this morning. Anyway, check him out.
With all the Creed talk in the census thread I did have to say that Creed was infinitely better when Stapp left. They got Myles Kennedy and called themselves Alter Bridge

But we’ll always have My Own Prison.
Not sure why but this popped into my head this morning and it’s not going anywhere so I am sharing the wealth.
Been listening to Indie 2000s Spotify playlist recently and have heard a lot of that one.
I am also a big fan of Om Nashi Me
This song makes an appearance in the Netflix movie Yes Day, where a dad and daughter sing it in their car. So now my daughter and I sing it. 30 years ago, my step dad and I loved this tune.
Pretty cool.
That is awesome! I Love stories like that.
Reminds me of Deadman on Campus. Which reminds me of this song:
The first two and a half minutes are incredible, but from then on I really hate it. Pretty wild how much my opinion of the song flips.
This is a JAM that I hadn’t listened to in a while but they were playing it at the TD garden during the bruins/islanders game the other night (heard it through the telecast).
