Two of the first concerts I ever went to were two Depeche Mode shows on the Black Celebration tour (with, I believe, Animotion opening) at the Kingswood Music Theatre at Canada’s Wonderland north of Toronto. Part of Kingswood’s $5 concert series.

Went to a show that my brother’s band was playing last night.

Ok, to follow on from a post or two above. The band before my brother’s was a wannabe Stevie Ray Vaughn tribute band. Not a bad band to be sure, quite good actually, but they definitely spent a lot of time watching old tapes of Austin City Limits.
But anyhoos, they led me down a rabbit hole of listening to SRV. Which leads into…Arc Angels. I listened to the crap out of this album when it came out.
