Yup - not since I was 18. Remember it being pretty touristy
What is happening?
Yea I was kinda bummed out.
@BrandymanVS not really sure @Sarah said she needed to be distracted so I am trying but itās late here
I will sayā¦I forgot how hard that course is. I brought a couple buddies and was like āno, it gets easier here in a few holesā. It does not.
Yea you were talking about it on sat pretty casually but you seemed confident and just shot a 69 so I couldnt really question you.
I was feeling a little big for my britches. Legends kicked my teeth in a few times.
Apparently not enough if you shot a 79. How was the semi-island par 3 (idk what you call that thing)
13, I think? I love that hole. Only bummer is it backs the course up. Between that and the drivable one the hole before, it got pretty slow pretty quick.
Sounds about right. Yea it really puts a hault on thingsā¦so how did you do on #13?
I hastily made par. I was trying to keep our group moving cause no one else hit the green and there was a group on the tee waiting. I get flustered with that shit and the course was probably (like for sure) a bit much for my buddies.
looks over at D2TD headcover, tee markers, stickers, flag
Yea you guise are dumb. lol
In some ways I am disappointed that the witch hunt seems to be done. I was ready for it.
But thereās a problem amongst us. There is a strong contingent in the refuge that feels that handicap dictates your score, not score dictating handicap.
Iām glad everyone that took a year or two off was able to pick the game back up. Iām not sure that itās always that simple. I took quite a few years off because I had my hands full with kids and this damn place along with people Iāve met here have dragged me back in. But itās hard to remember everything. It took 5 months for me to remember how to align myself and where to put the ball in my stance. I think I have it now though. No more double crosses.
Long story short, I am apologizing in advance for shooting low net at the Denison qualifier in a few weeks. I donāt see any way around it, and I fully expect and want to be burned at the stake for it.

If you have any tips on this, I know a guyā¦
I am fairly confident he hit 17/18 Greens as well. It was truly a stripe show for the ages.
I knew we were in for something special when he put his 3w like 20 yards from the green on the first hole.
Not even a 3 wood. 5 wood cranked down a degree if I remember correctly.
Sounds like @bignanski ās light Sabre 4 wood. He hits missiles with that thing
He can send it for sure. When I played him at Stoneridge I had multiple drives in the 270-280 range and he was waving at me from 30 yards ahead!
Best part of this whole thread is the jealousy of the guys who didnāt make it to the very best event this Refuge has ever seen.
Well, that and that they didnāt make it to the best god damn event this Refuge has ever seen.
GREAT weekend of golf with GREAT guys. Many of you will accompany me to The Buck Club on multiple occasions.
The list is long and distinguished.
Like my johnson.
