Gonna have to bail out of this event. Not in my already strapped budget. Unless I can get all inclusive airfare and lodging, the whole trip can’t happen, so I’m here to make sure that @gruetergolf and @Privatecollection can still use my registration for a willing participant.

Has anyone played the course? Have heard great things and just moved to the area so looking for a new home course.
Watchung is fantastic. Recently renovated and the greens are everything you can ask for from a “Raynor” (lot of discussion if it’s a true Raynor). Some weaker holes at the back half of the front 9 but the back 9 is top notch. You’ll have a blast!

Does any body have lodging recommendations for the weekend? Perhaps a flagship hotel for the event.
There are a bunch of the big chain hotels on the 287 corridor between New Brunswick/bound brook just south of the course (about 20 minutes away).
There’s also a HoJo right near the course.
Is anyone interested in trying to play somewhere Friday? I’ll be arriving to the area sometime late morning. I’m from Atlanta so no clue about the course options we’d have.
On a similar note, anyone looking to play some Sunday golf in the area? A friend and I are looking for a round.

Reporting from 22 minutes north of Watchung Valley - Not a cloud in the sky with temps in the high 60’s-mid 70s and a nice breeze. I think it will stay like this tomorrow too.
