Yes, discussion about beer is tangentially related to an event where we are going to hopefully be drinking a lot of beer. Discussion about alleged censorship, political infighting, and generally trying to piss people off for no reason isn’t. Use your best judgment, but if I read a post where it’s clear someone is just trying to derail the thread I’m going to flag it.

I think the historical average high on May 2nd is 64*. That’s much better than the average for Cincy on Nov. 2nd.

I have played in events where there were more then 72 golfers in a shotgun start. Double groups on par 5s - 88 golfers is doable
If we actually ended up with 100 plus participants then talk of a 27 hole course may need to happen. It was too hard to keep up with 50 of you, anymore and my brain would explode
Roseland really does have it all…Lax dress code? Check. Ability to accommodate VIPs (DJ and Coyne)? Check. Great heritage? Check.

Seriously, we’re going to that tone so quickly? Last night’s conversation was getting out of hand. But do you really want to be a part of a discussion if your opinion doesn’t matter and can be deleted? At that point why even bother? There’s a difference between flagging posts that inappropriate and flagging posts that are fine, but you don’t agree or don’t like the guy. If you don’t see a difference, then I guess I don’t know what else to say.

Not all 72 will make it. Virtually guaranteed.
I had I think three people cancel the week of the Cincinnati Duel and one the night before. Basically, just like a Tour event, if you are on the alternate list, show up. At worst, you can caddie, take pictures, heckle, get drunk, and hang out with everyone.
I will say again though, I think more than 72 is going to be tough. One thing people liked about Cincinnati was the free play and getting in as many holes as possible. That just gets harder the more people there are.
Yes…we’ve all played events with double groups on shotguns. It’s slow AF though.

Played a high school tournament every year with 36 teams at your typical muni style course. Two 5-somes per hole. Shotgun start. Very very brutal day.
