The one nitpick is that the ‘silencio!’ timeframe is only 4 months max.
Should be fine. If it’s a bad winter, the course could be in rough shape in early May, but that should be about it. 45-50 degrees and raining is about the worst it could be.
Re. Tweet. It’s amazing. The air is cleaner. The water clearer. The birds chirp louder, although based on his review of SFGC, that might be too distracting for him…
I feel like that will probably take care of itself.

Just think how fucking stupid this thread is going to be until May having to deal with this bullshit every day.
Not a chance the Cincinnati thread could have happened as enjoyably with ED around.
If only people could ignore it
Just don’t feed the troll, and keep flagging any time he tries to start shit in here as off-topic. It’ll sort itself out.
You don’t even need to flag it. Just ignore it.
Careful now. Sometimes you lose a match and you forget about by the time you get to the parking lot. Sometimes you lose and it stings for a couple days as you replay it in your sleep. And sometimes you lose and ten years later it ends up in some kid’s book report. Threads are fleeting. Losing in print is forever.
I love this dumb forum and all of you golf sickos so much. How is this real.
If there was every a time to mic players up, it’s got to be the @Lazstradamus & @TomCoyne duel.
@TomCoyne, going all Luddite, dropping the gloves, slamming @Lazstradamus’s head on his printing press, and taunting him as “internet famous.”
So I’m new to the Refuge. Is there any way to mute specific posters so one never sees their comments?
Not that I have anyone in particular in mind or anything…
Don’t know how I’m gonna handle waiting to see this up close and in person. Anyone needing a Sherpa to lug their weapons and nourishment?..
Click their profile, get to this page:
Then click the grey box that says “Normal”, and you have the option to mute or ignore. You’re saving yourself many many minutes you’ll never get back, but you’re here anyway so it’s probably a wash in the end
Next time I see one of your “books” at the Goodwill I’ll remember that.
I’m in Los Angeles. Should you ever find your way to the belly of the beast just chirp up. I’ll be ready.
This has been my issue with wines. I’m always saving for a “special occasion” but came to the conclusion that it’ll be really effing good whenever and otherwise I’ll never find a reason special enough. Drink and be merry!
This is my favorite post of the day.
Context: golf sicko from Denver, who signed up to play in Scotland in April, who just read about an event in Cincinnati in November, is questioning whether it will be too cold in Detroit in May- a week into the baseball season.
My man @jhkaplan may not be able to wear shorts, but I sure as hell hope to see him there.
