And because this is your first rodeo you will fail.
You will lose.
You will come to know the debt has been paid, and when you return to your bannermen you will tell them it was me.

FFS, and we say ageism only goes one way!
Ageism is rooted in older people getting dumped by employers for younger (cheaper) employees.
Ok just sorting out logistics as I need to get from Detroit to the UK on the 4th - checking flights so will know by end of day.
Update: looking good but will try to confirm by end of day.
Assuming the flights all work (looking good at the moment) and I do join all of you. I can promise you @Lazstradamus on your guiding principles
A) I qualify comfortably
B) What the hell is poor play?
C) We shall defend our island (team), whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches (bunkers), we shall fight on the landing grounds (fairways), we shall fight in the fields (rough) and in the streets (cart paths), we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender. - Winston Churchill.
(Sorry, couldn’t not do it)
Now your talking
Yes!
Love me some Iron Maiden!
I’ve seen them twice in the last couple years. First time they didn’t open with Aces High. Last time, they did. Life changing shit.
Ive seen them a few times. Epic. Out of all the metal bands from the 80s (Metallica, Megadeath, etc) I found them to be the most musically gifted. Along the lines of the musical talent of Rush in the prog rock scene.
No idea about metal (I’m sort of with @Lazstradamus and cashmere) howeva Churchill and Spitfires has to be rousing team room inspiration.
I’m starting to get a good feeling about this
Last thing and I’ll stop about this, but my wife and I caught Iron Maiden and Metallica on our honeymoon. It was incredible. Two of my all time favorite bands. Maiden live is something special. I’ve seen Metallica like 7 times now, but it’s always worth it.
Okay, sorry. Done now. Hahaha.
As I scroll through the comments finding other men of our “vintage” I take comfort in knowing that we will know what the children of The Refuge do not:
How to take a proper drop
What a Nassau is
When to press
Good music
How to dance
Who Seve Ballesteros is
Friends: Are you over 40? Do you like golf? Is English your second language?
YOU HAVE A HOME ON OUR TEAM: THE MARVIN GAZE.
I’m going to draft @Edge62 and blow up this whole plan
The Marvin Gaze will not be defined by any one man.
You will know us by the salt and pepper in our hair. You will know us by our calloused hands. You will know us by the scars of defeat that give us our character and our resolve. And when we raise the plastic cup of victory you will see the crow’s feet in the corner of our eyes as we smile in victory. And as you look around and see those who look like us, who have lived like us, smiling and celebrating WITH US, you will know that those who you draft were never on your team, @JBors. All men are drawn to the light.
In closing, I quote the great Ian Brown of the Stone Roses, “I am the resurrection and I am the light.”
Yes
Yes
Yes (Although full disclosure, I learned English and Spanish from birth at the same time)
Amen brother. Anyway according to my friends at the European tour and my semi-permanent FL FSGA status I think I’m only eligible to play for CA, NM, MD (at a stretch) and PA.
Ps where the hell is Detroit?
I’m sure I can find my way there.
I’m guessing that makes FL somewhere at the very end of America’s intestines. Jeez everyone told me Jupe was the heart of golf (lying SOB’s).
