I’m new to the refuge and simply cannot get through 4000 posts. I live within walking distance to Rackham in Huntington Woods. I’m also a UM alum and can get into the UM Mackenzie course since I know that’s been discussed.
Can some one give me a TLDR summary about wtf is going on with all of this?

Where to start…A few years ago, I wrote an article about a duel that took place on a golf course. I thought it was interesting that basically, people shot each other to settle qualms.
Duel 1
Sometime last September, a pillar of our little online community who goes by @anon26814599 offended me. I challenged him to a golf duel. Eventually, he accepted and we met in Cincinnati along with 50 other people. We raised a lot of money for a great cause and fellow Refugee @pushdraw.
Duel 2
On New Years Eve @GremlinGolfer and I settled a Twitter spat by means of Duel. @GremlinGolfer won handily, and became somewhat of a golf twitterverse legend when he dunked an ace on the third hole. The Carolyn Glasoe Bailey Foundation was the charity that day.
Duel 3
A few weeks ago @BaxterMSP and @anon47037505 met for a duel. DesertDuffer won, justice was served and everyone is still friends. 40 or so people attended and it was a glorious weekend. Raised money for another charity.
Duel 4 (unless some shit pops off between now and then. It probably will.)
@JBors talks a lot of shit out the side of his mouth. If I could slap him, I would. We are going to Duel at Rackham. Definitely sign up and join us. We have rented thecourse for the day and have a wonderful charity lined up.
Also bears mentioning that before we had duels, we had a grudge match zone. You could make an argument that @GRWhitehead is the father of the duel and remains unscathed and undefeated.
