Hey I’m looking to book my Airbnb soon. (Yes I know it’s early but I just want this out of the way.). To all locals and chairpeople, is there any area in particular I should book? Like do we have a specific bar we think we’re going to end up at or a neighborhood we will bar hop in? I think I’m going to prioritize being near the local watering hole over being near the course

Here’s some options for cities relatively close to the course with good bar options, I’ll let others chime in about specific bars if they have an idea.
Royal Oak - walkable downtown, lots of bars to choose from (Hopcat, Rock on Third, Piano Bar, Morrie, etc.), younger crowd.
Ferndale - also walkable downtown with lots of bars, more eclectic mix of bars compared to Royal Oak.
Downtown Birmingham - older crowd with nicer and more expensive bars, further from course.
Clawson - not as many bars with a smaller downtown, but I’m a big fan of Renshaw’s.

The Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village in nearby Dearborn are both really cool.
