agreed…not sure picking someone based off their character and what they actually managed to do in their real life should go hand and hand
can see why someone would want to change, but damn all these people were maniacs in some degree

I just wanted to bring us one post closer to the end.
This is so fucking awesome, you guise.
Funny thing is I have those exact pants (tights?)
With great joy, I accept the position of co-chairgui as well. After missing the Duel in Cincinnati, I cannot tell you how excited I am for the follow up edition to be at literally the closest golf course to my house.
To follow up on my co-chairgui’s comments re-Rackham, this place is really one of a kind. Horrace Rackham/ Rackham GC is a wild story. He was Henry Ford’s lawyer and was talked into investing $5K in Ford in 1903 and 16 years later he was selling his shares back to Ford Family for $12.5M (~$185M today). And like any reasonable person who gets a massive cash windfall, he started building golf courses with the 36 hole Detroit Golf Club (shout out Subprime Loans Open) and then spent around the equivalent of $7.5M in today dollars building Rackham as a municipal course. If you don’t think that’s cool, I don’t know what to tell you.
Really excited for this and deeply appreciative of Laz, JBors, Steve, LJP and 2TrickPony for their guidance in what can be improved on for the Duel in the D. Also cannot wait to get everyone on the course this spring and to take JBors’ team to:

At least we know our limits now
Why is @anon26814599 dragging his feet on his pick?
We’re just gonna hold one of the all-time greats for him for when he feels like he wants The Undertaker or not?
The gesture he used for his finisher would be perfect for match play too.
Not to mention that his theme song would make great walk-up music: https://youtu.be/U5MW4GCokRM
At this rate this one doesn’t even make it close to Thanksgiving.
we’re 20% through and it’s been two days
edit: and over 50% of the comments are about pro 80s wrestling
I thought we’d already established that @anon26814599 is clearly Shane McMahon.
You can’t understate how cool Horace Rackham was.
Besides having incredible hair and a dope mustache, his philanthropy was amazing and way ahead of it’s time
Horace Rackham and his wife Mary supported the University of Michigan by donating his law library, sponsoring anthropological expeditions, and underwriting creative arts fellowships. Most significantly, when he died in 1933, Rackham left $100,000 in his will expressly to support graduate student loans. The Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies at the university is named after him, as is the Rackham Building, built in 1938, in which the school is housed.[8] In addition, the Horace H. Rackham Educational Memorial Building in Detroit, intended for use by the Extension Service of the University of Michigan and the Engineering Society of Detroit,[9] was built in 1940 using money willed to the University.[10] The Rackhams were also the patrons of the 1938 Rackham School of Special Education on the Eastern Michigan University campus in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Well that’s just perfection, then!
taps mic This thing on?
I am formally relinquishing my claim to the throne of the Undertaker in favor of the far more appropriate Shane McMahon.
