i think we’re going full psycho to get mr. rembold back for the stl city match…it’s a young man’s sport!
Also we have 74 people signed up! If no one drops (doubtful) we will have two groups been a team of 5. If you play fast and want to be in a 5some slide into my DMs
You can get a skillet called the “Big Bertha” which I highly recommend if you want to Hit Bombs
FINAL DAY TO GET YOUR MERCH ORDER IN!
Struggling from a hangover? Did you lose the over by half a point in the Super Bowl? Cure your hardships with some awesome merch orders that will not only make you look good but will donate to the first tee Chicago.
Folks we are 32 days out until the Mudness and it is going to fly by. All merch has been ordered, all tee gifts have been ordered. We are at 74 total signups with a 10 person waiting list. Those 10 will have their chance at a dibs’ ing for any late drops.
For those that may drop, I’ll hold your tee gift hostage and depending on your location, you can either come get it or I can ship it to you.
If weather stays like it has been, we will be teeing off at 9 am with the goal to get the sweet sixteen horse race started around 1:30/2pm.
We are adding a $20 50/50 split the pot on closet to the pin on hole #7, It’s 169 yard par 3 down hill with a cool green complex that typically plays into the wind. The 50/50 will be collected via Venmo/Zelle and I’ll show receipts post event of the donation made to the First Tee Chicago. My company matches all donations up to $1k so if we can even 50 of you sickos going for a closest to the pin game we will be able to donate a cool $1,000 while the winner collects $500.
Pairings will be released at the end of this week and I highly recommend side bets for your group to keep the vibes high throughout the round. Quota is a brutal game and adding in some junk makes the round seem less like a walk up hill.
For those participating in the Unknown Golf beta test here are the side games offered in the app.
The fine folks at Dancing Goat Distillery north of the border are kicking in with my purchase/raffle item and including some swag and booze. Updated the Raffle sheet if that is motivating to anyone, big fan of the 2 liquids added to the sheet.
added a bottle of single barrel knob creek from the barrel picked by my club!
Awesome! We just eclipsed $500+ raised in raffle ticket purchases today. And that is with less than 10 people donating so far! At this rate with an accounting for a little drop in average raffle purchase we should be on track to raise just over $2,800 on the raffle (averaging 7.5 tickers per particpant). If 50 people do the 50/50 that’s another $1,000 and we are still waiting on the merch orders to give is final costs, but let’s say that is $200 on the low end.
Tee gifts I got a bit over my skis as is tradition, so no donation from that part, but in total I think a goal of $4,200 is a reasonable target. I’d be over the moon if we got to $5k.
NIT is nice, but giving back to the golf community is even better. I want to thank everyone in advance for their donation!
Rock and roll @dflock24 @TCRBrad and @justmuckit - see you on the 9th tee at 9!
Ahh I see you read the whole email!

What a pairing.
Starting on 15, provocative stuff. Nothing like hitting a 4 iron to start the day.
I’m not thrilled to have to start on a 560 yard par 5, but am glad I get to start my day with the largest club face.
Gonna be a lot of side action on 17.
Yall are a 5some and as retired or current WBC members I expect fast play and a lot of betting
Do we all still have to wear t-shirts even if it’s 30 degrees out?
I was under the impression that we were required to wear NCAA BBall jerseys
Catch me in my childhood JJ Redick jersey.
