As a former Peachtree Collective person… I never thought it was really formal? I kinda just reached out to the new roost where I live now and got on their roster. Not sure how that layers in anywhere else.

i believe departure thank you gifts to your prior captain and please take me on bribes to your new captain will do the trick
or just send a note to both to get added/removed to rosters as appropriate

Do they send you a prorated check from your dues payment for the unused portion of the year?

I believe I have to formally release you, or you have to sit out 1 year.
Edit: in reality just talk to @acrid and he’ll get you setup. We got a Texas transplant into our match play before he even moved.
