Heard on the No Laying it Up Podcast

Thoroughly enjoyed the business pod.

Breaking down the fourth wall with each of the ad reads was a nice touch. Really funny.

I like DJs idea of eliminating caddies.

If a pro had to lug his own bag, would he keep the giant staff bag with all the shit in it? I doubt it.

I saw one poor caddy a couple months ago lugging a pro’s bag that had an Orange Whip in it. We can’t dump that before we get to the first tee? The caddy has to carry your stupid Orange Whip? Get out of here.

Love the majors pod… to this day I think the best insight or quote heard on the podcast was the YE Yang:

“Tiger nervous”

So good!

@Soly

As a perennial underdog this pic used to be my fantasy football avatar. Amazing photo.

Loved the major upsets pod.

Deep dives are the best

Yall better be careful about calling people “touched”. Where I grew up, that might get you swung on lol

First chink in the armor.

In case anyone wants to watch these, there’s the no audio version of just YE and TIgers shots on Youtube. Then there’s the full broadcast on Vimeo

Also cannot recommend the titleist ball customizer high enough. They were even kind enough to upgrade me to overnight shipping at no extra charge to ensure I had these before I left for Ireland

The absurdity of listening to that entire podcast has me questioning my choices.

Tiger “I just can’t walk” at middle linebacker.

Sepp Straka doesn’t make this team at 6’3" 235? He’s got great hands…I could see him flexing between FB and TE

Really enjoyed the golfers as football players pod. I moved to the UK 24 yrs ago and lost touch with the NFL but the ball knowers and Bill Simmons pods have got be back into it.

Howeva…

Feel like we need to question the “Europeans can’t be QBs because they can’t throw” stuff that Soly was putting out there.

Feels a bit lazy. Bowlers in cricket and cricketers in general are very capable at throwing. I’d like to see some Europeans / Englishmen at least be in the discussion for QB in future.

I thought he was playing on D?

Quade Cummins at 6’3 230 could project at interior line and is a SGS certified burly boy.

Could also see Frankie Capan as a McCaffrey type back, speed for days.

@MerchCzar’s pronunciation of Juszczyk needs to be studied
