Anyone a #Carrynostra and bring a small drone with them? I want to do both but not sure my single-pocket bag makes it do-able or not.

Only made the decision to go down the drone rabbithole today, so it’s early. Looking at the DJI Mini 4 Pro or the cheaper Mini 3 at the moment.

Sorry to double stack questions but… I’ve got nobody else to ask lol

When you shoot b&w or a sepia style photo… are you staking to time to make adjustments on the camera before the shot? Or shooting in full color and editing afterward?

Joining you in pretty much the same photography journey. Just ordered the mini 3 and dusting off the dslr.

Earlier in the process, but I would imagine it makes the most sense to take the shot in full color and edit it later. If nothing else, it gives you more options later on.

I took my Sony with a couple of lenses to Scotland in this bag (I’ve seen people use this for drones as well). On the course, I attached it with a carabiner to the top of my Jones carry bag. Admittedly, it was easier when I had a push cart, but it wasn’t too difficult to manage when carrying either.

If you shoot in RAW, I don’t see a reason to not shoot in “color” and edit afterwards. I use quotes because RAW is essentially capturing as much light information as possible by the sensor capabilities. The vast majority of consumer cameras in the marketplace are color sensors which means you will capture color light anyway. If you have a monochrome sensor camera, that’s a different story and serves a very specific purpose.

I’ve been in the market for a Leica monochrome for a long time but just haven’t been able to bite the bullet in the cost as I get great shots with my Sony edited in BW. But I know that the monochrome sensor would have a different rendering, it’s just limited in its use.

(If anyone is wanting to unload an m242 or m10 monochrome on the cheap to a fellow refuge member, I’m your huckleberry) :joy::wink:

Hi All. I’m looking for help sourcing golf adjacent photography. I recently renovated my office and I’m looking for three photo prints that reference golf but aren’t of golf holes/courses/aerials. I attached two photos for inspiration. unfortunately TGJ doesn’t sell the Tiger print anymore and Fried Egg only posts landscape photos. I need mine them to be in portrait.

Any suggestions on websites, photographers, photos would be greatly appreciated.

Please point me in the right direction if I’m in the wrong thread and Thanks in advance for the help.
