I do think the Jim Rome avatar gives off the wrong vibe, but mostly tongue in cheek.
I really do appreciate the genuine effort you’re putting in to be a productive member of this community. Do you struggle with name calling and the “Fox News” shtick sometimes? Yes. But you’re improving and from what I can tell you want to be here and be accepted.

People need to quit shitting on Rome. That’ll get you banned quicker than anything ED has done of late. Pretty much anyone who doesn’t like Rome has never even bothered to listen to his radio show and only judges him off his TV stuff (which admittedly sucks - his schtick doesn’t translate to TV). Consider this a stern warning (have seen anti-Rome comments pop up in other areas of the refuge, as well.) And this isn’t just a TC thing - @Randy is an even bigger fan. Consider JR the spiritual founder of the refuge.

I don’t want you gone. Don’t think I’ve ever said that. I just wish you’d stop trolling and playing the victim. You bring good relevant discussion to the board often enough and you have a lot of golf knowledge and opinions that are worth discussing in the right spots. It would just be better taken without playing the “outrage” “unbelievable” “this can’t be real” schtick.
