Help me decide. I have two sets of Japanese forged steel that I can’t choose between for this event.
Option A: 1986 Mizuno MS-702 3-PW (I’d have to find a SW from this era too) that would give me +2 strokes.
Option B: 1992 Maxfli/Dunlop DP212 3-SW (I think these would give me +1 stroke, correct @Manhattan?)
As a fellow vintage mizuno player, I lean A, but, those maxflis are just so fucking hot.
Also, whichever set doesn’t win, I’m more than willing to bring so someone else can enjoy them for the day if anyone wants.
What is the cutoff for 1 vs 2 points? My irons are early 90s as well (90-91 range).
Hickories and 1989 and earlier blades are “historical” and therefore +2. According to the original chart in the first post.

Yeah, I was all in on the Mizunos until I got these Maxfli’s in hand. They are so sick, and they epitomize “she thiiiiiinnnn”.

Reminder to everyone else - If I don’t get some sort of pictures or notification of your bag ahead of the event, you won’t get an adjustment! I’m not changing things morning of when you pull out a persimmon or a wikipedia article and akshually should be getting more bonus. I’ve got about 7 of the registered players reporting in, so 18ish of ya are missing

The bag is finally assembled. By my count it should be one point for the driver (TaylorMade Burner Super Steel), 1 point for the fairway woods (Titleist 975f 13° and 18.°) two points for the irons (1978 Wilson staff tour blades 2-PW and an old add custom wedge system 55°) and two points for the putter (Wilson 8802) for a total of six (6) points.
Do I owe you a pic of my bag makeup? Or is there a link to a sheet where you’re tracking this for self-reconciliation?
Well shit, I’m locking myself into a 0 point bag then. Not going to make it hard on you and I haven’t locked anything in for the event. 
I have it tracked on a separate file offline (since I’ll have to manually adjust everyone’s caps in UKG the day before the event, based on your bonus’s).
I have @IT-to-Green as 2 points bonus, based on the post history above. You were planning to use a sunday set/half bag, with older irons and putter iirc.
Also, i haven’t heard specifically from the course but I’m planning on our first tee time being 10a, with 10min intervals thru 11:10. I know some of our guys wanted to be early/late based on other travel needs - if you have specific times off required let me know and I’ll see if I can accommodate.
Also, confirmed on using the Cleveland Classics 2 putter. I’m assembling it today.
