I’m on Marty’s email list and they said they cut the greens last week for the first time this year lol. Should be rolling sweet.
Forecast looks solid for the weekend with highs around 70, sun, and light/medium winds 10-20 mph. I’m not sure of the accuracy this far out but I would take that in a heartbeat. The courses are short from one ups and some wind makes them a good challenge.
Tee times for competition day have been secured! Please send me $21 for the morning round and the afternoon will be paid on site (Venmo ID: @jpmudrick, security # 5517 if needed, or cash). Refundable until 24 hours in advance, so please tell me if you can’t make it by COB Thursday 4/13. Weekend green fees at “TPC” Los Altos are $32.50 to walk, and I promise you won’t find an easier walk anywhere, plus $13.50 for a half cart.

I accidentally left off Sunday’s round at the UNM Championship course. Still on for that as well.

I will be arriving lunchtime Friday and spending a few hours with a local friend getting lunch and touring UNM, can definitely make the late 9 though. I am in for UNM North on Sunday.

Los Altos has a decent amount of push carts for rent too if that’s your style

Sadly, I am out for the whole shebang. Between packing to move to Portland at the end of the month, vertigo still bothering my brain, and my wife having a class all weekend, no way I can get away from the four dogs…. Have fun fellas!

Unfortunately don’t think I’ll be able to get off early for the Dam 9 Friday. Wildly unproductive yesterday and today and will be playing catch up next week (pending a Monday finish lol).

I also have a spare push cart. Lmk and I’ll bring it.
If anyone local wants a used push cart, I’ll give it to you for free. It’s a CaddyTek three wheeler in great shape with about 20 rounds on it.

There is a possibility I make it up for the Friday afternoon round. Don’t save me a spot in case someone else wants it, but depending on work, I might be able to make it there by 4:30. When is the hard cutoff time for a yes/no answer?
My plan is to come up Friday evening and then my wife is going to come up on Saturday and we are going to stay until Monday. Any suggestions on areas to stay/avoid? Neither one of us are familiar with the northern part of the state. Marriott properties preferred because that is who are points are through. Thank you?

Alright I’ve got a 4 and a 3 for Friday at 4:30 and 4:40 and we have 6 solids (just upgraded myself) and 1 maybe.
I just checked with UNM South and it’s not looking great for Sunday AM. There is a 4some open at 7:54 and then booked until 9:54 and 10:06. Bonus is general public non-pass holders can’t book until 5 days out. May need to pivot.
@waffles @Jpop942 will you guys be playing Sunday morning? Believe @GolfGuyRN @BrysonsLats @Breakfast_Ball_Hite @jsg_nado are solid. Would be good to figure out numbers tonight because some other booking windows open tomorrow. Maybe looking at Sandia or Santa Ana?
We will need to leave in the AM.

Marriot Albuquerque in Uptown is probably a good option. Never stayed myself but that’s where my work puts people who come to town so can’t be too bad. It will be super convenient to both Saturday courses (decently close to Arroyo del Oso too), and there’s a good amount of food/shopping options around.
Not sure about any other marriot properties although I’ve heard the pyramid one sucks

I would go with either of these two. The Old Town (west) location is better for walking around, Uptown (east) is a little more modern.

5:10pm. I’m open to other courses for sure. Sandia looks neat, wouldn’t be opposed to marty sanchez since we will both miss it friday.
