Deck the Ballz at Waveland

I have strengths?

The epoxy just didn’t bond correctly. Should be all set now*.
*I haven’t hit it since fixing it so I guess we’ll see!

Everyone has officially paid up and we are donating $220 to first tee Chicago!

Shoutout to @JwG3 for making the custom scorecards. I’m headed to fedex to pick them up today, but here is a special preview.

Hitting it in the cold will be great.

FYI pro move is to pull up to the club house to pay for your round and get a parking voucher which is cheaper than paying for parking via the Park app

I’d like to thank everyone who came out to Waveland this past weekend! We not only had a great time hanging out and hitting mud balls, but we also raised $229.15 for the First Tee Greater Chicago! My company will also match that donation so in total $458.30 was raised.

It was as good of a day we could ask for out at Waveland and the greens were as scruffy as they typically are. We were lucky enough to get everyone out before 10:30 and averaged a sub 2 hour pace for 9 holes which is why I love Waveland in the morning and why I love Scotch Foursomes.

@WillyK and @rmbartell took home the Deck the Ballz crown and a smooth $100 venmo each. Net 33 in mid December is no joke as they beat 9 other pairings by at least 2 strokes.

Shoutout to @Xlink for the delicious mulled wine.

The post round Toons hangout was awesome and I wish we could host an event every month but we live in a pace that rarely allows for golf 12 months of the year.

Events like this is why I fell in love with the refuge and especially the guis in @SecondCityGC. It’s about 3 things; good people, raising money for charity, and fast pace of play

Thanks again to all who came out and be on the lookout for a March Mudness sign up sheet before year end.
