We got a group of 12 of us on in August through a connection on Thousand Greens. It wasn’t stay to play yet, but after our experience I would shell out the cash to stay and play in a heartbeat
$35 for Moore Country residents at the time. It felt like you were stealing something. Happy it has another life!
When it is firm and fast it is as much fun as there is in golf. When it is wet and no roll just another very nice golf course.
I’m sure they haven’t ruined it with an upgrade, but pre-private Dormie atmosphere may be unbeatable for me. Understated, high quality, exactly how I’d have wanted a course to be in that location. Glad to see NLU giving it some shine.
Edit: Soly accidentally calling it ‘The’ Dormie Club - inserting pretension into a place where there previously was none.
They have/had the best looking tees. The starter told me to grab a handful so I did. Then I took my buddy’s handful, because he’s a UF Gator and he wouldn’t touch anything red and black.
