Building off my thank you, thanks to the great turn out we had, we were also able to donate $500 towards Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lowcountry. Have fun, play meh golf, but raise money for a good cause too.

I think I can make it!

Gentlemen, it has been a month as you have waited with bated breath.

BUT TODAY IS THE DAY.

The Third Annual @PalmettoGolfSociety vs. @FirstFlight Christmas Clash - December 14.

Price is going to be $160 this year, which is up from $140 last year and is almost entirely due to the price of golf going up. I swear if someone doesn’t start to shrink the game soon…

Due to the disaster that was the pace of play last year thanks in large part to the wonder of the weather, Pete, the Pro at Stono, is letting us go at 11 AM this year. That means we’ll hopefully have enough time for everyone to see the grandeur that is the island green 18th, have a great happy hour back at the house, then get to oysters.

As you all know, that $160 includes 18 (and cart) at Stono, oysters, beers, some Brunswick stew, and probably some cornbread.

The Spouse Special is sticking at $40 because they’re not playing golf.

Since I have to start prepping and buying things before the events, and no event organizer should go poor for trying to throw a good time, going to again require a $25 deposit for your spot. Refunds given in severely limited circumstances. My Venmo is @jwc9p, last 4 are 9455. I am not sorry.

If you have questions, @westerj12 will answer all of them.

TBD on whether I bring my wife/kids to the oyster roast. Will sync to see if she wants to spend the day with them in Charleston. Stay tuned.

I was able to access it just fine. It’s probably just a refuge bug.

You can ask @AirMailWedges and @RDUAccountant how they were able to magically access this super private sheet.

Facts don’t matter. Just perception

You wearing your Hey Dudes while typing that too?

In, paid in full, and signed up. The spreadsheet worked via link from my email which was the only path I tried. Thanks for organizing it.

Will be TBD on bringing my girlfriend for the oysters, some of you may scare her and Tom is likely to show up as sexy Santa

Maybe I’m missing it (most likely), but what is the format? Any other information a potential first-timer should know? @westerj12

Fair enough. 18 holes of some type of match between the two.

However, we usually have to see how many from each side we get before we decide the real format.

Last year (I believe) we had the front 9 as a 2 man best ball match and the back 9 was 1v1 match.

Hey @BrooklynAJ the sign up sheet is here.
