Yeah, love the 9 hole score goals instead of 18.
50 then 45 then 40, etc.
love it.

It helps to keep me in it if I blow up on one of the 9’s. Played 36 last week. I went 50-52, 57-49. So instead of two average 18’s, I had two good 9’s
Now if I can just get the USGA to count superscored rounds…
Watching a newbie like you break barriers is more fun than watching an professional golfer to me. Keep it up!
I was watching a rerun of the 87 Masters last night, and one of the announcers reminded us that Greg Norman went from a 27 HC to scratch in 2 years. He was a few missed shots away from being one of the all time greats.
He was 15 years old, of course.
Be right back, I’m gonna go start a thread about how I’m trying to qualify for the us open.
2 years to scratch, but if you’re 15 years old and your mom is a scratch golfer… that helps.
@Badatgolf can you comment on whether your plan for Jax Beach in November will be to:
TIA
The golf strategy will be to take one less club when in doubt. But the real strategy will be to remember the fans and the people at these events are what matter the most.
