Been reading your name at Ba-dat-golf…

Bidet Golf is more appropriate for the Refuge in these trying times.
@therealmarkymark coming out like
Hi @Badatgolf. How do you feel the in-the-middle-of-the-woods AirBNB in Tennessee prepared you to overcome any on-course adversity? I’m hearing reports of a lot of insects. Perhaps you were bit by a radioactive spider?
Will you be looking to partner with EL Laboratories in the future? Did they really help you to “get scooby”?
It was important to be in the right mindset. In the quota game, especially for a high handicapper, only takes a couple hot holes to make all the difference. I was pointless for the first 6 holes, but staying positive and knowing I only needed to catch one or two breaks to get my round going was crucial. To tie in to the Airbnb, it wasn’t great, but I knew it was the beginning of a long trip, and that staying positive would make all the difference.
I owe almost all credit to EL Labs. The par 3 course on Thursday, as you know, was a very very tough scene. Without the help of Eric, I would’ve been lost the rest of the weekend. But his advice helped me make my living on the par 3’s at Monroe.
Some have said that the greens at Monroe were very tough, even going as far as saying it was like putting on hardwood floors. Can you comment?
They certainly weren’t the Ohio Muni greens I know and love, but they rolled true. Our practice rounds out at Oak Ridge and Mooresville helped me dial in my speeds a little more, and kept me from putting off too many greens.
What is your favorite fruit?
I love a good orange
Hi @Badatgolf,
First time long time here, there are rumors circulating that there was (Big)data presented to you during the round that may have influenced your play and pushed you over your quota. Wondering if you could shed light to the rumors.
Thanks
I haven’t fully dove in to the science of golf, but the facts presented to me during the round were too strong to ignore
The NLU bump is real, but the NLU event bump may be real as well. I shot a 44 yesterday, my best 9 hole score by far. Fairways and greens…
Nice job dude! By July you will be playing bogey golf.
That’s awesome Hart! I had a 45 on the front yesterday, so you beat me. Did rally with a 41 on the back. These damn double bogeys are killing me. Had 4 of them yesterday.
Thanks! That’s the goal, 45 felt like a huge barrier.
I feel that. I was even through 4, and then made back to back triples.
When I was breaking the bogey golf barrier I always just kept my score by how many over/under bogey golf I was. That was my new par. So never really used a score card just mentally kept track each hole +/- off of what bogey golf is.
Seemed to be a decent mental approach at the time. Making a bogey was great. Making a Double was not that bad…it was just +1. So SAVING double became important rather than just letting the triple or quad happen which it so easily can.
That’s been my philosophy with double bogey. I know I need to go 4 under double bogey to shoot a 50. Probably not true, but I feel like it’ll help me not icarito in the future, if I’ve been telling myself for so long that I’m “under” whatever my par for myself is
